When we bought our dream home in Pune i just had one thing in my mind that it should get furnished before we move there. So i started searching for best quality interior designer but in limited budget. And that time i got reference of Excel Constructions through Youtube. Work done by them was exactly same as i wanted ,decent and best in quality. All of those videos of home decor was excellent and i thought it wont be fit in my budget. But after lots of search i thought i should give it a try and at least get estimation from Excel Construction. So i contacted Jay and gave my minimum requirements and also my budget. He gave us exact quotation of what we wanted and i was surprised that yes my home is going to be furnished by Excel Constructions. Jay gave personal attention for each n every aspect like design, quality material etc. Before working on new things he gave us designs for that and once we confirmed then only he started working on it. He always considered our suggestions and requirements so it made more easy for us. Most important was we had limited time because date for moving to flat is fixed. But before shifting to new house he did each and everything on estimated time. As we have quoted for small amount of work but as things get done perfectly we added more things and already crossed our budget limit 😋. I was looking for an interior designer for a 2BHK which I recently purchased for my own use back in Dec 2017. Being in a demanding job, I wanted someone reliable who would get it done with minimal intervention. I was lucky to have been introduced to Jay by one of my friends who recently got his interior done by him.
The project commenced in mid Feb and was completed in 2.5 months (before the promised date). It included a revamp of electrical lines/points, False-Ceiling in all rooms, Wardrobe in bedrooms, modular kitchen, wood work in Foyer area and sink cabinet.
Most of our coordination happened over whatsapp as I was not in town.
Typically, he would send me multiple designs to choose from, guide me (pros/ cons of each) and help me make a decision. Wherever possible, I tried to give him a complete creative freedom as I believe some things are best left to specialists. This really worked out well and the end product was truly marvellous.
Jay is very professional in his approach..Maintains complete transparency, plans ahead of schedule (so that there is no need of retrofitting) and the execution is flawless (he has a team of highly skilled workers).

Early 2017 when we decided to renovate our flat; we were not sure from where to begin with. Then I remembered my friend who had his flat renovated in 2016. I was impressed by the pictures of his renovated flat. He expressed absolute satisfaction about the designer who had carried out the job that too in the promised time frame. We decided to visit his flat and see for ourselves. My friend also requested the contractor to meet us at the same time. To tell you the truth when we met Mr. Jay Bhoi (Excel Constructions) it was “trust at first sight”. After viewing my friend’s flat we were convinced that Jay was the person we were looking for and our search for contractor ended before it had begun.
The challenge was to commence the work by mid-June 17 and finish it by end-Nov 17. It involved extensive civil, electrical and plumbing work followed by furniture joinery and actual furnishing. In other words it ensued complete facelift of the flat. In initial two to three meeting Jay was able to provide us comfort level and enhance our confidence in him.
Believe me the work started exactly on 15th June and was completed on 30th November despite some hiccups due to society issues and objections. Jay has modern aesthetic sense which brought breeze of freshness to the renovated flat. Only thing is that people of our age should learn to believe in young man’s thinking and approach. In fact we were in the UK during the whole renovation period but we never felt that we were ignored thanks to modern communication channels such as email and WhatsApp. We appreciate Jay for keeping us informed about the proceedings almost on daily basis. He was available at any time. Jay was always willing to go an extra mile – personally helping us selecting materials, fittings, accessories etc. We never realised when the “contractor – client” relationship turned into a friendship.
We wanted our ‘house’ to become ‘home’ of our dream. Yes, thanks to Jay, his father (who personally supervised the job) and the team of Excel Constructions for making our house a home sweet home. It was a pleasant surprise to work with a contractor who “kept promises”. We wish Excel Constructions all the best for future.

Renovating your house after some years has kind of become a necessity nowadays..it helps you stay in sync with the changing trends and also gives longevity to your property..however it is also crucial to find the right person to do it because you don’t want to spend your money and then not get what you want..Fortunately I had Excel Constructions as my Architects and Contractors..Although the owner Jay is a close friend I was happy that he ensured that the friendship did not hamper his professionalism..watching him go about his work assured me that I had taken the right decision..right from the day we started the work what struck me most was his confidence and that he knew all along how the end product was going to be like and unsurprisingly it was the way we and he had envisaged.. not to forget his quality of going out of the way to help us select the other essentials like furnishings,kitchenware etc..it was pretty evident he wanted to hand over a complete HOME to us and not only a renovated property…Kudos to Jay and his team.

Jay undertook renovation work for our flat in Sadashiv Peth, Pune. being old city area main issue was unloading of materials in peak hours but Excel and its team were professional in their approach. I collected two, three quotations for my flat renovation, but rates quoted by jay and the team were lowest among all, Even though the lowest quote there were no compromise in quality of material anywhere in the work , He allowed us to select whatever material We want in the selection process, being an artist myself all the queries and suggestions were accepted and solved very politely by Mr. Jay and completed the work well within the schedule , I am very much satisfied with his work , wishing him best luck for the future.
